Bob Bredel is a 37-year San Carlos resident and the #1 ranked agent for San Carlos properties in all meaningful categories from 2006-2026, including: Most Listings Sold, Total Gross Sales Volume, and Most Buyer Representations. He is widely regarded as the most sought-after authority on San Carlos residential sales.
Aside from his primary roles in assisting San Carlos buyers and sellers, Bob has been retained by counsel as an expert witness with trial experience to testify on San Carlos property values.
After leaving his practice as a real estate attorney in 2004, Bob started his real estate sales career with Sotheby’s International Realty in San Carlos in 2005. In 2015, he was a founding partner of Dwell REALTORS® in San Carlos, which instantly became the #1 brokerage for San Carlos properties in its inaugural year. In 2021, Bob and his partners sold Dwell REALTORS® to Christie’s International Real Estate Sereno, which is the office you will recognize today in downtown San Carlos.
On a personal note, Bob is married to his wife, Lori. They have two daughters, Olivia and Lexi. Lexi is a sophomore in college in San Diego, and Olivia graduated from Wake Forest University in North Carolina and now resides in Manhattan.
In his time away from real estate, Bob is an active member of the San Carlos community. He has volunteered as a Parks and Recreation Commissioner, Athletic Director of St. Charles School, AYSO coach, Little League coach, Softball coach, President of San Carlos United Soccer Club, and founder of San Carlos Treasure Hunters.
He is a graduate of Santa Clara University, B.S., and graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law, JD, and has been a member of the State Bar of California since 2000.

This site is wholly owned and operated by San Carlos Blog, Inc. My name is Bob Bredel and I am the founder of San Carlos Blog, Inc. (2007), a 30-year San Carlos resident and REALTOR® with Christie’s International Real Estate Sereno, located in downtown San Carlos. As is the case with most REALTORS®, I am constantly asked by clients, friends, family and neighbors about our San Carlos real estate market. I have developed this site as means to share my knowledge with my fellow San Carlos residents.
The purpose of this “blog” is to create an interactive arena to answer all of your real estate related questions regarding San Carlos. It will also afford you an opportunity to share your real estate experiences with others who visit this site in search of answers to their own real estate questions. This site may also be used to host your comments on other places and events in San Carlos, such as annual community events, shopping, dining, sports or any other item of interest to those living or considering living in San Carlos.
The Goal
